I specialize in creating handmade candles inspired by your favorite TV shows, movies, books, and video games!
My goal is to transport you to a world that you already know and love after a long day of whatever it is you had to get done. I pride myself in using quality ingredients to make a product that you can trust in your home.
More than anything, I hope to send you a product that brings a smile to your face, and a little bit of joy to your day whenever you need a little pick me up.

Story
How did Serenity by Han come to be?
Backstory time! TL;DR, my husband is a genius and it's all thanks to him.
I have wanted to have my own business for quite a few years, but was entirely lacking inspiration on what to actually sell. Anything I could think of felt unoriginal, or unrealistic to actually develop.
Fast forward to 2023, and I unfortunately faced a long bout of depression. Within that period of time, very few things could make me feel any sort of happiness, or even just stability. My comfort shows were a little lifeline, that felt easy, and helped in some small way.
It was during this period of time that I caught the "crunchy" bug, and began to watch videos about baking your own bread, homesteading, etc. and came across one video about making your own candles. I thought... "Huh. I can do that. It looks kind of fun!"
I happened to be watching "The Office" at the time, and luckily enough, was watching Season 4, Episode 13: Dinner Party. I began to actually laugh for the first time in months and asked my husband, "Babe, can I make Serenity by Jan an actual thing?"
He smiled a little and said, "No. But you could make Serenity by HHHHan!" I probably laughed for like 30 minutes straight as I sat in bed and started coming up with candle, after candle, based on all of these fun shows, movies and books, that have been special to me through my whole life. And so, Serenity by Han was born!
Now it is my simple hope that my candles can bring smiles to other faces as well.

A bit about me if you'd like to know the girl behind the candles. I'm a Georgia peach, born and raised.
I have a degree in Theater Arts and have loved theater and entertainment for as long as I can remember! My husband is a composer, so we're an artsy fartsy household.
"The Office" was my first comfort show, and while many others have joined my queue, that one will always reign supreme in my heart.
I love cooking, knitting, video games, reading, writing, and on, and on, and on. I'm a serial hobbyist. We love ADHD.
